Treasurer Vera Head seizes a marketing opportunity
Fortunately our Vice-Chair, Miranda Whitehead, owns a large tent. This meant that we had a most enjoyable and profitable afternoon in her New Forest garden, despite the weather. Catherine Bearder, European Parliamentary Candidate for the South East, and Terry Scriven, PPC for New Forest East ,joined WLD members and friends for games and serious over-indulgence in cake, scones and other unhealthy eatables.
Many thanks to Miranda and her husband, Mark Bentinck. We hope to make this an annual event and look forward to sunshine next year.
